STED¶
Enabling STED (Stimulated emission depletion) allows achieving super-resolution on confocal systems that support this feature.
Usage¶
To activate STED is sufficient to enable the switch, below there is an overview of the settings for each mode:

Activating the STED mode is not instantaneous as the polarization waveplate can take few second to change position.
Once the STED mode is activated, the depletion laser power can be adjusted.
